The Carrier Services Division focuses primarily on the development of a new C&WJ wholesale business so as to establish a clear distinction between our wholesale and retail service.

The Division forms the primary interface with other carriers and service providers in the market place, the OUR and also with our own retail lines of business. Carrier services will also be connect in accordance with legislation and OUR directives. Key operational responsibilities include:

• The technical implementation and ongoing effectiveness of interconnected networks with responsibility for the development and management of technical interfaces, standards
  and quality of services parameters.
• The development and management of wholesale pricing and tariff-setting in accordance
  with the regulatory guidelines.
• The development and marketing of wholesale products and services to C&WJ’s retail business as well as to the new entrants to the market.
• The management of Inter-Administration Overseas Carrier relationships.
• The specification, implementation and management of an interconnect
  and wholesale billing platform.
• The development, implementation and management of regulatory policy, inclusive
  of the negotiation and management of the RIO.
